一、高频生活动词用法-set

set a date (for)--设定日期(时间)

例句1:-So, are you planning to get married? 你们是打算结婚了吗?
-Yes, but my fiancée and I haven't set a date. 是的,但是我和未婚妻还没定日子。
例句2:They set the date for May 1st. 他们把日子定在了5月1日。

例句3: I set the alarm for a quarter to seven. 我把闹铃定在了6点45.


Be all set for something/be all set to do sth --准备好
例句1:I'm all set to leave. Are you guys OK? 我都弄好了,你们好了吗?

例句2: Everything's all set for tomorrow. Don't worry. You'll have a perfect wedding. 明天一切都准备好了,别担心。你会有个完美的婚礼的。
