5. *辨析 capacity & ability & capability

很多时候可通用。

对人而言，capacities是天生的，而abilities是后天习得的。

*capacity 容量，能量

The vehicle’s fuel capacity is 120 gallons.

这辆汽车的汽油容量是120加仑。

*capability可理解为是ability的极致。

ability 能力

capability 能耐

I have the ability to write, I don’t have the capability to write a novel.

我有能力写作，但没有能耐写出一本小说。
