重庆一妇女砍伤14名幼儿园儿童后当场被捕

At least 14 children have been injured in a knife attack at a kindergarten in Chongqing.

近日，重庆市一所幼儿园发生了一起持刀袭击事件，有至少14名儿童受伤。

Police say a 39-year-old woman carrying a kitchen knife entered the school in Banan district last Friday morning, as the children were in the playground.

警方称，上周五早上，一名39岁的女子手持菜刀进入了这所位于巴南区的幼儿园，当时孩子们正在操场上。

The motive for the attack is unclear, though some reports on social media say the woman had a grievance against the society.

The woman, whose surname was given as Liu, was arrested at the scene.
