哈医大自动售货机售卖艾滋病检测包

Students at Harbin Medical University woke up last Sunday to find a surprising new addition to their vending machine. On sale alongside the instant noodles and soft drinks were HIV test kits.

上周日，哈尔滨医科大学的学生们一觉醒来，在校园的自动售卖机里发现了一个令人惊讶的新事物。除了方便面和软饮料外，里面多了艾滋病毒检测包。

It is part of a program launched by the Chinese Association of STD and HIV/AIDS Prevention and Control to address HIV transmission on campus.

这是中国性病艾滋病防治协会针对艾滋病毒在校园内传播发起的项目的部分举措。

Nine such vending machines had been installed in five universities across the country by the end of 2016, the association said.

该协会称，截至2016年年底，已在全国5所高校里安装了9台这样的自动售卖机。

A kit is sold at a price of 30 yuan. A test-taker buys the kit, collects his urine sample, and drops it back to the deposit drawer.

一个检测包售价为30元。在检测者购买检测包后，可采集尿液样本并将其投递回样本收集柜中。

Staff at the center for disease control will be notified by a sensor wired to the drawer. They come to retrieve the sample, do the testing, and post the result online.

收集柜中的感应器通知疾控中心工作人员后，他们会前来收走样本、对其进行检测并在线发布检测结果。

Only the test taker can view the results once they log on the center's website and enter a specific code number.

只有检测者本人登录疾控中心网站、输入特定代码后才能查看检测结果。
