写给老师的一封信英语1

DearAmy:

How are you? I guess it’spretty tiring to correct All that homework, Iwonder if there areany shortcuts?

As a new teacher for ourclass, I think maybe you would like to know a fewthings about ourclass.

Um…… firstly, maybe you would like a real goodassistant. I recommendagirl, her English name is Amy too, Amy Lin. She’s really good atprocessingdetails, and, yes, carrying stuff (but not too much) does everything reallyfast, and can leave enough timeleft.

Secondly, you might need a student-tutor, astudent that teaches otherstudents. Well, I think a student whichhas “maths-craze” called Eric well be fitfor the job. Hecan get good English grades as well, also, he loves helpingotherswith their studies. He wears black and blue rimmed glasses all daylong, and maybe you know him. Many boys treat him as a boss, andare willing to listento him.

Thirdly, perhaps you’re alsolooking for a student which can entertain theclass and makeEnglish classes more interesting (a class clown). Then IrecommendLeo, he jokes all day long, has a great sense of humor andcrazyimagination. But he isn’t a classic good student, so perhapssometimesyou’ll get a bit annoyed.

It’sabout ten! Maybe I’ll have to leave the rest for nexttime.

Bestwishes!

Alyssa

Dear Editor,

I’m a builder. When other builders and I laid a foundation of a building,we dug out some ancient cultural relics.

At that time, some people suggested we sell them so that we could get somemoney. But I didn’t agree with them because I think these cultural relics areour country’s wealth.

As Chinese people, we should protect them. So I told the other builders weshouldn’t sell them, because cultural relics represent a country’s culture andhistory. Besides, we should donate these culture relics to our country in casethey might be sold abroad secretly. We shouldn’t lose them.

Yours sincerely,

Li Hua

I’m very glad to know that you are a table tennis fan. So am I. Tabletennis is the national ball of China. Almost everyone in China, whether old oryoung, can play it. The tables for playing it can be seen here and there, inparks, squares and in many working places, even at some people’s homes. TheChinese table tennis players have very excellent skills. Dear Mr. Cousins,

Since you are a well-known musician, I’m writing this e-mail to ask you forsome advice on how to form a band. I, together with two boys and two girls indifferent classes in our school, want to form a band. We are all fond of popmusic and modern dance.

I’d like to know whether we should play one kind of music or differentstyles to start with. And is it enough to practise only at weekends? How can weget more chances to perform? We’d appreciate it if you would come up with a namefor our band. Looking forward to your reply.

Best wishes!

Yours sincerely,

Li Hua
