how time flies! it is ahnost a month since i arrived here and began a newlife as a university student. but all this time, i have been missing you and mydear school. i just can not tell you how grateful i am to you for the help yougave me during my preparation for the university entrance examination. now iwill tell you something about my university and life here.

our university lies at the foot of mount zijin, in the eastern suburbs ofnanjing city. the campus is very big,with a big sportsground surrounded by lotsof modern classroom buildings. what have impressed me most are the big libraryand the well-equipped language lab. our campus is also very beautiful. there arequite a few well-kept gardens. every road is lined with trees. how happy we areto study in such an enviromnent!

life here is both busy and coloufful. we have classes every morning. in theafternoon, we either work in the laboratory or do assignments in the the evening, we can go to talks or do reading in the library. this keeps usoccupied most of the week. but on weekends, there are always manyentertainments. we may go to the club to have a dance or go to the cinema to seea fihn. sometimes we may also hold a party to practise oral english. in a word,we like our life here very much.
