Miley Cyrus was the one to pull the plug on her marriage to Liam Hemsworth, a source exclusively tells Us Weekly.

“Miley was the one who ended things with Liam,” the source tells Us. “They haven’t been together for months.”

A rep for the 26-year-old singer confirmed Cyrus and Hemsworth, 29, called it quits after nearly eight months of marriage on Saturday, August 10.

“Liam and Miley have agreed to separate at this time,” the statement read. “Ever-evolving, changing as partners and individuals, they have decided this is what’s best while they both focus on themselves and careers.
