中国政府设法遏制出境游客不文明行为
Tourists from China intent on celebrating their new wealth — much of it gained since 2008, when the government introduced major stimulus programs amid a sagging global economy — are a fast-growing presence around the world. Their range extends from American cities to European villages, from African safari parks to Southeast Asian beaches. Recently a group of more than 6,000 Chinese tourists attracted attention by taking a company-sponsored vacation in France.

The ballooning numbers have led to friction, with accusations that tourists from a country with 1.4 billion people may swamp popular sites, particularly given their preference for group travel. In 2014, for the first time, the number of Chinese tourists traveling overseas exceeded 100 million — 107 million, up more than 19 percent over 2013, according to the China National Tourism Administration.

After mounting reports of Chinese tourists behaving badly in public, including defacing ancient monuments, opening emergency doors or breaking into fights on aircraft and disrespecting local customs, the tourism authority announced in April that it had begun drawing up a behavioral “blacklist.”
